In recognition of Earth Month and Sodexo's Annual Servathon, start a virtual food drive to raise funds and increase access to healthy plant-based foods for people struggling with food insecurity.

One of the most critical factors for having a healthy diet is access to nutrient-dense foods, such as fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, seeds, and whole grains. Food insecurity and the lack of access to affordable, nutritious food are associated with increased risk for multiple chronic health conditions such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, mental health disorders, and other chronic diseases.

To help optimize the health of children and adults who struggle with food insecurity, we are asking you to rally your friends, family, and networks to support the Stop Hunger mission…helping to ensure everyone has dependable access to enough nutritious food to enable them to lead a healthy, productive life. By contributing to the Love the Planet Food drive or forming a team and becoming a fundraiser for Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation, Inc., you will be helping to improve both human nutrition and the planet by encouraging more sustainable consumption patterns.

Unless otherwise requested, 100% of funds raised through the Love The Planet Food Drive will support the Foundation's food aid programs, such as the Sodexo Summer Meals Program, K12 backpacks, University food pantries, and community food aid initiatives, including emergency food aid.
