Why Join Us?

One of the most important factors for having a healthy diet is access to nutrient-dense foods, such as fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, seeds, and whole grains. Food insecurity and the lack of access to affordable nutritious food are associated with increased risk for multiple chronic health conditions such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, mental health disorders and other chronic diseases.

How can I Help?

To help optimize the health of children and adults who struggle with food insecurity, we are asking you to rally your friends, family, and networks to support the Stop Hunger mission which helps to ensure everyone has dependable access to enough nutritious food to enable them to lead a healthy, productive life. By contributing to the Love the Planet Food Drive or forming a team and becoming a fundraiser for Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation, you will be helping to improve both human nutrition and the planet by encouraging more sustainable consumption patterns.

Who will Benefit?

Unless your team requests funds be directed to a specific hunger-fighting non-profit, 100% of funds raised through the Love the Planet Food Drive will support the Foundation's food aid programs such as the Summer Meals Program, K-12 backpack programs, University food pantries and community food aid initiatives, including emergency food aid.
