While the pandemic highlighted both the severity of hunger faced by millions around the globe and shed light on the multitude of reasons for its continued persistence, we’re witnessing record highs for the costs of food compared to pre-pandemic levels. Though the rates of food prices have slowed in some places – the need for food assistance continues in an upward spiral.
