Sign Up for a Fun Tone & Stretch Class with Stop Hunger

Developing and maintaining strength and flexibility as you age can be beneficial to your health!

Did you know that stretching helps keep muscles limber, improves posture and balance, and can help prevent falls? Unfortunately, when leg muscles are tight – a typical result of too much sitting – you may be more likely to experience lower back pain, muscle strains, knee pain, and overall diminished performance.

Join the Stop Hunger team for a demonstration on how to use Circle 8 stretch bands to help tone and stretch at home, at your desk, or while traveling. If you register for the class by November 23rd, Stop Hunger will send you 2 Circle 8 bands – one for you and one for a friend!

Need more convincing? Check out this article from Harvard Medical School that details the importance of stretching and some precautions to keep in mind when starting a program. The Cooper Institute on Health & Wellness also provides information on the importance of maintaining muscle tone.

This session will be led by fitness enthusiast and Desktop Support Analyst, Claude Sheppard. Claude will be accompanied by Roxanne Moore, RDN and Executive Director of the Stop Hunger Foundation.

Note: Before engaging in any fitness activity, you should obtain clearance from your physician.
