Plant Forward: Strengthening Health and Well-being Servathon 2021
May 6, 2021 @ 3:00PM — 4:00PM Eastern Time (US & Canada)
In support of Servathon 2021, Sodexo Corporate Services Account will lead a live webinar to share the benefits of following a plant-forward diet and showcase a corn salsa recipe you can pair with several entrees!
Food insecurity and poor nutrition can have
a negative impact on health. This webinar will share
the benefits of following a plant-forward meal pattern which helps empower
the food insecure to make informed choices for quality nutrition.
Sodexo Corporate Services Chef Anthony Perrotti and Wellness Director Tina Makker are teaming up to highlight the impact of plant forward thinking and principles and will provide real-world examples of how this can influence our health. To showcase how to implement, Chef Anthony will demonstrate how to make a corn salsa recipe that you can enjoy with grilled or baked chicken, salmon, or crab cakes; or as a dip for tortilla chips.
To help support Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation's Servathon 2021 activities, please purchase your tax-deductible ticket to this live skilled recipe demonstration and discussion on plant forward information and its relationship to food insecurity.
Remember, 100% of the ticket cost will be donated to the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation to help fight hunger in the U.S.
